Amongst the last 600 Emden built Beetles imported into the UK for the 1978 model year were 300 1200L Last Editions. Diamond Silver Metallic (L97A) paintwork, Marine (dark blue) cloth seats. Interior also featured padded dashboard, plaque on glove box lid, rear parcel shelf, heated rear window.
