Going, going... 1978 VW United Kingdom advertisement

Amongst the last 640 Emden built Beetles exported to the UK for the 1978 model year were 300 1200L Last Editions. Diamond Silver Metallic (L97A) paintwork, Marine (dark blue) cloth seats. Interior also featured padded dashboard, plaque on glove box lid, rear parcel shelf, heated rear window. European production of the Beetle Sedan ceased on January 18th, 1978.
