The Ice Blue Beetle, a Mexican special for Europe only, 1200 engine, Metallic Ice Blue paint, black and silver stripes, blue-grey tweed 'Panama' upholstery with head restraints featured upholstery matched door and side panelling, carpet and luggage area, chrome plated wheel trims and 'Braunschweig' radio, heated rear window, electric windscren washers.
A new version of the Ice Blue model was produced for 1984 - 3,800 of these were sold in total.
