 Mag wheel covers were a standard VW Dealer accessory from the Formula Vee range. They were based on the 'Riviera' magnesium alloy wheel available through Dealers as the 'GT Mag Type'. Baja taper-tips
A Dealer installed 'Baja Beetle' package ($129.95) for the 1302 Super Beetle. This included black 'Baja' side stripes, overriders, Bosch halogen driving lamps, taper-tip exhaust tailpipes, 'Mag' style sports wheel covers, leather steering wheel cover, walnut dash trim and a Superior Industries speed shifter.
